The Finchale Priory is…
…a “listed building” but, more importantly, is a very, very cold place… when it’s cold. Photographically, the Priory is the first time I combined my “new” Minolta Spotmeter with my Bronica. B&W or colour, that day I had 400 ASA film that did not prevent the camera shaking due to photographer’s shaking due to the…

There must be a reason…
…to endure this shitty weather. Like Woody Allen once said about shooting in London, a dark grey sky makes an easy background. Also available on iStock for sale.

There is only one kind of pizza
There is only one kind of pizza. I do agree, although probably I would differ from their definition. I do like the colours of their store, though. The Nikkor 24-120 VR 3.5-5.6 is bad, but good enough for web-size images.

Watching Durham
There aren’t many things to see in Durham, but those few things are keen on being watched and watched again. The picture above was shot on Ektar 100 with an Olympus XA. Grazie a Marco Raco per la visita, e per avermi fatto notare questo bella scenetta!

TLR perspective
One of the easiest things to do with a Twin Lens Reflex (“biottica”) is looking down (in the viewfinder) and high (with the lens). I did the same, a few years ago, in Canary Wharf.
