English homes
Since 2003, I’ve been living in England. Not every year since, but almost, I have been photographing homes (English homes, more or less traditionally so), easily, just by going out for a walk. Coming, mostly, from Southampton and Durham, my pictures show the typically colourful homes of County Durham and the more sombre ones from…

A large collection of DVDs for stock photography
The iStockphoto editorial collection has a few images that I managed to create taking advantage of my large set of unintentional props: film DVDs, obviously all original, now ranging between 400 and 500… Most images were created with a SONY NEX. In some cases I tilted a 20mm to make use of a tilted plane…

Diverging paths
This image can be used to express going in two different directions: diverging opinions, parting, clash of ideas. At the same time, it’s basic design leads the mind to think of a down-to-Earth, unsophisticated approach, uncluttered by stunning visuals. Yes, I have just praised a picture for not being too-good!!! Sony NEX-5, Carl Zeiss Jena…

Paper!
What would you do with some 3D-graph paper, black Indian Ink, and a Johnson&Johnson cotton bud? I did this… …and this… …and this

The Finchale Priory is…

B&W or colour, that day I had 400 ASA film that did not prevent the camera shaking due to photographer’s shaking due to the…

Somebody left the milk out of the window…
…at the castle. Yes, it was very cold today in Durham. And the Sony NEX-5, with the Tamron SP 90/2.5 and the Manfrotto 709B, spotted it very well. This Manfrotto is fantastic. I am not someone who carries heavy stuff with him (why would otherwise use a NEX?), and in fact I can leave this…

Back from Amsterdam…
…it is time to enjoy some Coolscanning. I was happy with the Delta 3200 in the Contax just as much as with the Ektar 100 in the Nikon. Two humble examples. Of course, my Amsterdam pictures will begin to pop up in iStock too.

Watching Durham
There aren’t many things to see in Durham, but those few things are keen on being watched and watched again. The picture above was shot on Ektar 100 with an Olympus XA. Grazie a Marco Raco per la visita, e per avermi fatto notare questo bella scenetta!
