Inspired by “Munich”
“Munich” is a wonderfully complex picture. Any scene that I might be inspired to re-create in my small studio can only be simple indoor ones. I admired Avner on his hotel room bed. I improvised a bed on a table. The final result with me acting as the lead character!

Light scheme for “pain”
Both the 90×110 Elinchrom softbox and the snoot were gridded. The background was a light grey muslin.

Light scheme for “Fumo negli occhi”
For this photo I wanted a gridded softbox to combine with my gridded beauty dish. I did not own one then. I replaced that with a white diffuser disc and some black cloth to avoid the light blind the lens.

iPhone 5 vs Olympus XA and Kodak Ektar
While in Venice (Italy) I shot the same scene with my iPhone 5 (HDR and filters) and Olympus XA loaded with Ektar. I propose here the comparison, while noting that I have adjusted in Photoshop the Ektar file only.
