On iStockphoto.com I have a small lightbox of medicinal capsules, pills, tablets. The colours were mostly added either by a coloured light directed on the white tablets or by a white translucent background illuminated by coloured lamps. The colours were easily added by filtration with coloured natural cellophane that works fine for cold lights.
