I was in the mood of:
- photographing something at home
- looking at a beautifully bound book
For the first point, it is difficult not to have my hand, a book, and some yellow paper available (well, the latter could happen). For the second, I resorted to the original Italian Sellerio edition of “La vampa di agosto“, one of Camilleri’s Commissario Montalbano novels. I photographed it with two Bowens softboxes, a Bronica 80/2.8 PS lens adapted onto Sony NEX-5 and a short extension tube.
