National Geographic small shoulder bag

I have been… experimenting, trying what can fit into a small camera bag (such as this one). I have found three interesting combinations, also thanks to the two internal mobile separations. The first goes like this, with only one separator in use:

  • Bronica SQ-A with magazine and PS 80/2.8 (and, of course, collapsed vertical viewfinder)
  • Sony NEX-5 with C/Y-NEX adapter and C/Y Carl Zeiss Tessar 45/2.8
  • Manfrotto 709B Tripod in the front pocket

Which is not bad at all, considering that the Bronica is not small by any means. The second configuration has, again with only one separator in use:

The advantage of such cfg is having a wide-angle lens and a medium-tele lens together. Finally, a third set-up (which I am going to use in the immediate future) has two separators and I can fit in the bag:

  • Olympus XA
  • Tamron SP 90/2.5 for Nikon, unmounted
  • Nikon FM2n with Nikkor UD 20/3.5 mounted
  • Manfrotto 709B Tripod in the front pocket

I am really satisfied with this “small” camera bag.
