How to light a scientist… or at least someone who pretends so ;-)
I used:
- a white wall
- one green-gelled Elinchrom reflector with flags, camera left, angled, set at minimum (1)
- one red-gelled Elinchrom reflector with flags, camera left, pointing at the subject, set at minimum (1)
- one gridded beauty dish, Elinchrom, set at minimum, camera-right, lighting the hands only with feathered light
I used a Fujifilm X-T1 camera, the XF 35mm f/1.4 lens wide open, a Nikon polarizer (to reduce the intensity of light). Here is the result.
